Chris Chase
Chris is the owner, head guide, and driving force behind BS Flies. For over 20 years, Chris has shared his knowledge and passion for fly fishing on this renowned stillwater. What Chris enjoys most is watching people new to the sport fall in love with fly fishing. When not on the water, you'll find Chris tying flies - he ties all of the patterns used out on the water. Through his work as a guide and fly tier, Chris spreads his contagious enthusiasm for fly fishing to anyone he encounters.
Mike Smith
Mike Smith was a passionate fly fisherman and guide who co-owned BS Flies. For over 2 decades, Mike shared his love of the sport with countless clients. Whether fishing Sheridan or Henry's Lake he had an uncanny ability to put anglers on fish. Tragically, Mike passed away in February 2023 from cancer, leaving a void in both the business and fly fishing community. Mike's legacy lives on through BS Flies and the many fishermen he introduced to this wonderful sport. While he is dearly missed, Mike's memory inspires us to continue providing the top-notch service and experience he was known for. All who knew Mike are grateful for the time they shared on the water.
